Designed and implemented a comprehensive strategic planning effort for this statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by problem gambling through advocacy, education, training and research.
Working in collaboration with a board-appointed Steering Committee, we began with a governance review, stakeholder mapping, multi-level SWOT analysis, and logic modeling, and then gathered critical perspectives from key stakeholders. Using content from those tasks, led a broad set of leaders in a full-day goal-strategy mapping workshop, followed by another round of stakeholder engagement to gather feedback on the draft long-term goals and mid-term strategies.
Once the final core strategic plan was completed, worked with the Board and lead staff to address governance issues, develop an action planning framework, and develop a strategic plan monitoring and updating process.
