Client: Indianapolis/Marion County Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention
Project: This project was created following a year-long effort that failed to engage key stakeholders and proposed untenable recommendations. Our team of Anne Carroll and Sara Peterson was selected following a rigorous and tiered search during which we demonstrated our commitment to an extraordinarily collaborative, transparent, and inclusive decision-making process.
We began our collaboration by working with key community stakeholders to design an inclusive and transparent process to engage the full spectrum of participants and build much-needed community trust.
Jointly with a community-selected Process Accountability Team, we used crowd-sourcing techniques, highly participatory workshops, and community gatherings.
Stakeholders worked closely and transparently to identify the needs and opportunities, build a cohesive and broad-based collaborative committed to a common vision, goals, and strategies, and successfully launch the Blueprint to prevent and end homelessness in the community.
