Stakeholder consultation for screening options and section alignment: When complete, the 15-mile Nine Mile Creek Regional Trail will span the cities of Hopkins, Minnetonka, Edina, Richfield, and Bloomington. Significant portions of the trail in Hopkins, Minnetonka, Richfield, and Bloomington are complete, but the largest gap is through Edina. The alignment for the new trail was approved by the Edina City Council in 2010, and preliminary engineering and design are taking place in 2014.
Provided the stakeholder consultation design and implementation plan, website content, stakeholder information and decision-making packets including screening options for the c. 700 property owners within 50′ of the trail plus some sections for which the alignment was yet to be finalized, and supported stakeholder consultation.
