Design and Governance: Worked with staff and newly elected members of the citywide Neighborhood and Community Engagement Commission to ground this new public engagement work in best practices, clear principles and values, and effective governance.
Helped establish leadership and decision-making structures as well as group norms and expectations, fostered and modeled a participative and inclusive environment, provided guidance with materials and background information, and helped design processes to authentically engage stakeholders.
