Cultural Competency Inventory and Professional Development: As part of the Heading Home Hennepin program, working with the County Cultural Competency Committee and the County Office to End Homelessness to develop and implement a transformational Cultural Competency Inventory and Professional Development Guide to improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness. Used a highly collaborative development process to engage people who are homeless (youth, families, adults) and providers from dozens of agencies to develop criteria for and then pilot the Inventory tool. Focusing on professional development and growth for provider staff and leadership, the Inventory results are used internally and then aggregated for countywide analysis.
